Dear Reader,
I share here what I like and what works for me. If you've been following me, you know that I can change my mind from time to time, and feel free to comment that I'm completely wrong, you may be right. I'm not running a business. I'm not paid and have never received any compensation or facilitation for any review/brand/site here mentioned. In case one day we'll ever meet, I'll be the one offering you a cup of Italian coffee, too.

granny squares - piastrella n. 8

That is another square. (You might want to have a look at the whole set "granny squares" on flickr). I'm naming all these as "quad_xx" because in Italian square is "quadrato" (and "piastrella" means tile). I've little imagination for names, isn't it?
Color scheme: primary colours. (I've just played with my iphone changing tones. Very fast but only virtual reality! Sigh!)
Techniques: SCMR and split rings.
It is only one round, worked with 2 shuttles filled with DMC #80 thread color 666 (red) and the variegated is Perfect Quilter, that is part of the great treasure sent by Fox, I don't know which color number is.

Ciao,
Ninetta

  1. Very pretty. So, you tatted it in red, and painted parts of it in other colours? That's a great idea!

    1. Sorry Grace, I know that my english is not good! In the big photos there's real tatting, with 2 threads: red and variegated. Then, in little pics there're modified pictures.
