Dear Reader,
I share here what I like and what works for me. If you've been following me, you know that I can change my mind from time to time, and feel free to comment that I'm completely wrong, you may be right. I'm not running a business. I'm not paid and have never received any compensation or facilitation for any review/brand/site here mentioned. In case one day we'll ever meet, I'll be the one offering you a cup of Italian coffee, too.

rompers - part II

The second pattern for my little balls, circumference 9cm, it is just a wheel.
Wheels are comfortable to me to tat, after having done a lot in Anne Orr's large doily and in Priscilla's frame.

Pattern, only one shuttle.
Leave a tail of 25cm. Start with a ring:
R1: 6-6 with a long central picot.
Leave about 1/4" of thread,
R2: 4-4-4-4, leave about 1/4" of thread,
R3:  4+4-4-4, (join to R2) leave about 1/4" of thread,
R4:  6+6 (join the long central picot), leave about 1/4" of thread,
- repeat  R2,R3,R4, R2,R3,R4, R2,R3,R4, R2,R3,R4,  R2 AND climb to the upper row with
SR1: 4+4 / 4+4 (use the tail left at the beginning)

Leave a mock picot
SR2: 4+4 / 4+4 (use the tail left at the beginning)
Leave about 1/8" of thread,
R5: 4-4, leave about 1/8" of thread,
R6:  4+4+4-4, (join to SR2 and previous round R3) leave about 1/8" of thread,
R7:  4-4, leave about 1/8" of thread,
R8:  4+4+4-4, (join to R6 and previous round R2) leave about 1/8" of thread,
Go all around (at the end there are 11 little rings of 4-4) then the last to do it is a split ring 4/4 to climb up, tie ends together and use these to "dress" the little ball, I threaded it in all picots of the little rings.

Ciao,
Ninetta
