Dear Reader,
I share here what I like and what works for me. If you've been following me, you know that I can change my mind from time to time, and feel free to comment that I'm completely wrong, you may be right. I'm not running a business. I'm not paid and have never received any compensation or facilitation for any review/brand/site here mentioned. In case one day we'll ever meet, I'll be the one offering you a cup of Italian coffee, too.

lilac doily
The lilac doily is finished. The squared motif has been tatted with a shuttle (ecrù) and the ball (lilac), while the edging has requested 2 shuttles, filled with ecrù. Thread is DMC n.80. It is 25x25cm.

Wow! this is just beautiful and very large, nice color choice too! I like this pattern and topped off with such a nice edging too! Your comment on my blog is funny and I am sure for children's silly things, would be very hard to understand with language barriers:)

ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful Ninetta! And I always love square designs. On my computer, the écru looks a bit green and that is also very pretty with lilac.
ReplyDeleteI love the little motifs and the hearts in this doily. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIs that one available on your flickr page? I don't recognise it. And the edging perfectly compliments it. Beautiful work.
