Mr. M was going to trash it, luckily Doc D is still here on holiday...
Love the Simple solution !!! But am thoroughly foxed by 2 crosses.... The 'unjoining' between adjacent arms I get; but the 2 extra red marks ? I can't seem to spot any difference there .

That I knew because Mr Meticolous told me: 3 extra ds in one inner cluster and ends are wrongly connected under the second ring.
