It cups, then ruffles, then wants to cup again...
Then I ... ergh... CUT...
But only two or three repetitions and started adding "big holes" (2 clusters in place of one) every 3 "little holes".

This is really coming along nicely, I enjoy seeing your progress!
ReplyDeleteThank you, it's fun but this round is growing very slowly! Only 5 repetition per night! Maybe next post could be about the collar...
DeleteIt looks beautiful!! :)
ReplyDelete:) I like it a lot, even if it's so different from the original one.
DeleteLooks very nice against that dark pink background. Are you going to frame it when finished?
ReplyDeleteThank you Tally, it's an unusual way to display a doily, it's quite "big", about 40cm in diameter when finished. I haven't find a place at home where put it, a frame could resolve the horizontal space problem, but then I'll have the vertical... ;)
DeletePerhaps it should be called Patience Doily. Coming along well, but it must've been frustrating to have to cut.
ReplyDeleteOh I like that name better! I had no problem cutting a little. I've been lucky till now, no other flawns after the second row, no other cuts. But still with fingers crossed!
DeleteI wonder if the weight will keep it flat when you have finished it.
ReplyDeleteLooking good so far
Margaret
