Our aim is to have real tatting, definitely! I love jumping from a blog to another, admiring all your charming tatting creations. We know very well that tatting takes time and patience, so many trials are needed to have a pattern which works good, and then some test or self-test tatting. But sometimes happens to play, just to let hands have a rest... Lately I've found an App for Android called Kaleider Free and I can't stop playing with it! It's a software that generates a surpising variety of kaleidoscopes and mirrors, and it can start from your own pictures. I've collected together some screenshoots taken yesterday. I've started from my own real tatting pictures and I obtained those amazing compositions! Virtual-Reality-tatting is very fast and playful! But untouchable, sigh!!!
In the real tatting world (not virtual), I've started two edging, and I still can't decide which is better for the hanky in the photo. What do you think? I think that the variegated green (the one in the upper side) doesn't fit so good, probably I should buy another green ...
Then, I've played again with the Tattingram, trying to draw a pattern simpler than the one used for the candle. I think it could be valid for the study on shapes that we had as homework in the last Designer class (there's red in, too!).
I've also a temporary pattern for quad 17, fast drawn before I forget the stitchs' count!
Handmade tatting lace blog with my own patterns, tutorials, how-to and links to useful resources. It's all about my passion and my joy.

Dear Reader,
I share here what I like and what works for me. If you've been following me, you know that I can change my mind from time to time, and feel free to comment that I'm completely wrong, you may be right. I'm not running a business. I'm not paid and have never received any compensation or facilitation for any review/brand/site here mentioned. In case one day we'll ever meet, I'll be the one offering you a cup of Italian coffee, too.

The lower looks better with the hankie. Looks like your having fun with designs too!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures look so great!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI think both edgings are great, but I think the bottom one kind of mimics the flowers more. :)
Nice tattingram! :)
Great pattern! :)
I like the variegated one!
ReplyDeleteFox. : )
I like the lower one best. Fun to be able to play with 'tatting' patterns without having to go through hours of work!
ReplyDeleteKaleidoscope is amazing, I have also previously tried. Excellent background images on the blog ... :-)
ReplyDeleteI think I like the lower edging better.
